A local mortgage company that takes a different approach.

Capital M Lending is a locally owned mortgage company striving to provide services and help to the local community.  “Our primary goal is to provide sound and responsible advice to our clients when looking to finance a home”, says owner Michael Sullivan.  “However I want to ensure that we also use our influence to do some good for the community that supports us,” continues Michael.

Capital M Lending has proven their interest in helping the community by hosting quarterly events benefiting various charities.  “Art @ the M” are charity fund raising events where local artists sell their art to the public and give 25% of all proceeds to a designated charity.  Capital M Lending has four events already planned for 2008 benefiting groups such as Habitat for Humanity and QUAD Inc. Home, among others.  All proceeds of these events go to the Charities and the local artists. Capital M Lending sponsors and hosts the event as a way to contribute towards both the charity and the artist.

“I enjoy being part of a company that is interested in supporting our community through these types of events,” says Steph Noble, one of Capital M Lending’s top mortgage advisors.  “It feels good to help out and to know that we are making a difference,” comments Steph.

Capital M Lending is located in downtown Portland and provides full service mortgage consultations.  The advisors have access to a myriad of programs from the conforming mortgage products, first time home buying programs to Reverse Mortgages and FHA and VA loans.

Using their influence to give back to the community, Capital M Lending is proving to be a small company with big dreams.  While demonstrating strong ethical guiding principles Capital M Lending is also exceeding common expectations and breaking through the general stereotypes of mortgage companies.  “We are a company making a difference,” comments Michael, “once you meet with one of us and come to the Art @ the M events you’ll see, we do it different around here.”
