We had heard about reverse mortgages from a number of sources and thought, maybe this might help with our financial situation. Being retired, we had limited but stable income. We were able to get by, but there wasn’t much money left for discretionary spending.
We decided to look for someone experienced in reverse mortgages. We called our financial planner who had suggested a couple of names. After talking to them, we settled on Paul Pomeroy to lead us through the process. At first we were a little hesitant. Paul was very understanding of our concerns and did not try to “push” us.
After making the final decision, Paul kept us informed of the steps to be completed before the final loan papers were signed. We were very impressed with his attention to detail, his patience, and overall professionalism.
After no longer having mortgage payments, we now are less stressed about going to dinner or taking that trip.

After my husband’s battle with cancer I knew I would be losing a part of my income after he passed away and no longer could afford my home. After the loss of my husband I contacted Paul Pomeroy who had previously helped us with the purchase of our home. Paul met with my family and explained how a reverse mortgage worked.
